Associate Professor Chandana is an academic at Swinburne Business School’s Department of Management & Marketing. He chairs the governing boards of IHM, IHNA, and HCI Holdings and is the chief editor of Healthovation magazine. Chandana holds a PhD in Management from Monash University, an MBA, and a BSc. (Bus Admn) Honours from the University of Sri J’pura, Sri Lanka. He is a Principal Fellow of the Advance Higher Education Academy (UK) and a certified carbon literacy trainer by the UN’s Carbon Literacy Project. His research spans CSR, sustainability, ethical business practices, and regulatory frameworks, with publications in numerous esteemed journals. Chandana has co-edited books on socially responsible consumption and sustainability. His accolades include the 2023 ABDC award for climate action, Vice Chancellor’s Accountability Award, and several teaching and research excellence awards. He also served on the ABDC journal ranking panel in 2013.

Dr. Abhishek Sharma

Dr. Abhishek Sharma is a distinguished academic and researcher with a PhD in Business Management and a Graduate Certificate in Research and Innovation Management from Swinburne University of Technology. Recognised for his dedication to excellence in teaching and learning, he has been awarded a Fellowship from Advance HE, UK, reflecting his commitment to professionalism and his significant contributions to higher education pedagogy.

Currently, Dr. Sharma serving as a Senior Lecturer and Research & Innovation Manager at the Institute of Health & Management (IHM Australia). Apart from his teaching responsibilities at IHM and he serves as the editor of Healthovation Magazine, an industry focused publication that drives innovation and knowledge dissemination within the healthcare and management sectors. Moreover, Dr. Sharma also spearheads the IHM Seminar Series, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and academic excellence.

In addition to his teaching and editorial roles, Dr. Sharma leads institutional initiatives to enhance global engagement, including advancing IHM’s position in Webometrics Global Rankings. He maintains strong partnerships with peak bodies and associations within the Australian tertiary education sector, such as ACEN, IEAA, and VIEA, bridging the gap between academia and industry to drive impactful collaborations.

Dr. Sharma’s extensive academic portfolio includes teaching diverse subjects such as Brand & Innovation, International Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Marketing Strategy. His prior roles as a Sessional Lecturer at Victoria University, Academies Australasia Polytechnic, and as a Teaching Assistant at Swinburne University of Technology underline his versatility and expertise.

A skilled researcher, Dr. Sharma is adept in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with proficiency in advanced tools like SPSS, AMOS, Nvivo, Fireflies, and EndNote. He has made significant contributions as a peer reviewer for leading A-ranked journals, including Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing & Logistics, International Journal of Bank Marketing, and others.
